The Video Everyone is Watching

The following is a reaction video provided by Dr. White regarding the recent election. It has had a surprising (to me) resonation within the blogosphere. If you haven't already seen it, I would encourage you to watch it. I don't endorse everything he has to say, but he makes a lot of good points.

  1. TF,

I watched the video like a test to see if I could pick out what you do not "endorse" about what Dr. White has to say. I failed at my attempt. Would you please share what you do not endorse.

  2. Zog,

Good question. It is an 18 minute video. I haven't found anything in particular to disagree with. I do not personally know whether Obama supports homosexual marriage - I thought that he did not. Also, I don't necessarily agree that America's culture is already "anti-Christian," although it is a shame that the election results are a bad sign.

  3. Turretinfan, you are right about thinking that Obama doesn't support homosexual marriage, but the caveat is that he would not actively oppose it. So there is enough nuance there which would allow James White to make the statement he did. However, in the world of sound-bits, it probably was not the most responsible thing to say.

  5. I thought Dr. White's head was just a tad bit shiney!

I was wondering if the shine was natural and induced after he shaves it? :) or :(, you decide?

  6. :) -- I'm guessing the shine is just the normal effect of a bald head.

  7. Some choose to soar with just hoary headed golden eagles, and some like to soar with bald eagles, like Dr. White and me! :)

We are nevertheless suppose to soar with "eagles" soaring!

Maybe I was such a "bit" presumptuous associating my hoary head with Dr. White's bald head and being eaglelike, like him?
