ReplyDeleteIt appears (not sure-- I going on the timing and last line of your post) that you are equating telling April Fools jokes (whether malicious or not, and whether extended or not, and regardless of consequence) with lying.... at least story-based jokes (versus practical jokes).
If this is the case, presumably you would extend this to all story based jokes.
... and so my question is, considering that such jokes are fictional tales, do you feel that the bible proscribes novels, short stories, and fiction in general?
If so, what is your rationale?
