Comment Guidelines:
1. Thanks for posting a comment. Without you, this blog would not be interactive.
2. Please be polite. That doesn't mean you have to use kid gloves, but please try not to flame others, even if they are heretics, infidels, or worse.
3. If you insult me, I'm more likely to delete your comment than if you butter me up. After all, I'm human. I prefer praise to insults. If you prefer insults, there's something wrong with you.
4. Please be concise. The comment box is not your blog. Your blog is your blog. If you have a really long comment, post it on your blog and post a short summary of it here.
5. Please don't just spam. It's one thing to be concise, it's another thing to simply use the comment box to advertise.
6. Please note, by commenting here, you are relinquishing your (C) in your comments to me.
7. Remember that you will give an account on judgment day for your words, including those typed in comment boxes. Try to write so you will not be ashamed if it is read back before the entire world.
8. Stay on topic. If your comment has nothing to do with the post, email it to me (my email can be obtained through my blogger profile), or simply don't post it.
9. Don't post as "Anonymous." If you are going to post anonymously, at least use some kind of recognizable "handle," so we can tell you apart from all the other anonymous folks. (This is moot at the moment, since recent abuse has forced me to turn off "anonymous" commenting.)
10. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you; and abstain from doing to others what you would not wish upon yourself.
If one ever were sitting on the fence with Islam and were wondering whether or not to go right or left, this video should guide them/you to even, more so, leave any secret entertaining thought of the veracity of her religion?
ReplyDeleteThis video also encapsulates especially meaning of these ancient Jewish writings:
Pro 18:20 From the fruit of a man's mouth his stomach is satisfied; he is satisfied by the yield of his lips.
Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.
...
Pro 26:1 Like snow in summer or rain in harvest, so honor is not fitting for a fool.
Pro 26:2 Like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, a curse that is causeless does not alight.
Pro 26:3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the donkey, and a rod for the back of fools.
Pro 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself.
Pro 26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.
Pro 26:6 Whoever sends a message by the hand of a fool cuts off his own feet and drinks violence.
Methinks David has carried very very succinctly and well the day powerfully as you have describe his video, TF!
I love his argument and presentation—too bad about the media clips though; they'll be low-hanging fruit for Muslims looking for reasons to dismiss the argument.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the work David put into this. As always, though, I find his demeanor to be, well, demeaning. He comes across to me, frankly, as a wise---, both in looks and tone. This condescending approach has the effect, in my view, of being very distracting and mitigates against his (I assume) goals of having the gospel itself take on the burden of being offensive, rather than the messenger of the gospel himself being offensive. I have come to highly favour Dr. White's respectful but firmly convicted and well-informed approach to dealing with Muslims and the Koran.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I meant "militates" not mitigates.
