Hmmmmmm, I get a sense this guy has an understanding that sharpens the sense to discern between good and evil, something I desire daily. Ok, here we go, reading, reading, reading! :)
I would add though that according to Paul the Apostle, we are atheists before we "know" God:::>
Eph 2:11 Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called "the uncircumcision" by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands--
Eph 2:12 remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
"....without God in the world.".
Isn't that the mindset of a Gentile or Jewish atheist?
Believing in the false gods of this world, which there are plenty, is true atheism, isn't it?
Anyway, I have an advantage in reading this as does every Born Again, Spirit Filled Believer "living" with God's Living Hope. We now have a finite knowledge of Our Infinite God that increases in Grace and a True Knowledge of Them.
To say we don't know God when we do know Him, would be lying. To say we know God when we don't know Him, would be lying. We ought to not lie. Lying is a sin.
