These are clear musings for one such as myself, being of the "first" nation breed, as in California Indian, or "the people here first".
ReplyDeleteYou have to put these things into real human down to earth contexts as in what the Spanish did in the quest for gold forcing my people to swear allegiance to Christ and the Cross or die by the conquistador's sword or be hung or driven out of the lands of our nativity, starved out or diseased so that we would go away or die away thus not being another constraint to progress and growth of this new found land.
My Indian ancestors probably were musing thus: "Yeah but, so are you as "universially" [ah, catholic], that violent towards others as you are to us savages?"
Thank God that the Gospel knows no constraints!:::>

This message works and bears it's own fruit within all nations or another way of putting it, it works just as protestant catholic for and only for the Elect in every nation, kindred, tongue, tribe and people!
I am convinced of that now! :)
