I did comment regarding one aspect of his article with regard to "Christianity".
Indeed, True Born Again Believers have the Holy Spirit.
Weak or young Christians do fall prey to spirits.
I have, admittedly, to my own shame.
I am grateful for repentance, full pardon, no condemnation and strong brethren who have loved me and nurtured my soul out of all errors. These brethren have reflected and embraced the integrity and character of Christ in them and His fullness and eagerness to restore the fallen and strengthen the weak in the fellowship of the Communion of the Saints.
Life is growth.
Spirit Life after being born again is intense spiritual growth into spiritual maturity.
There are ways of looking at this storm brewing on the horizon that the article lays out.
I am taking my lead by these verses and prayer if the storm comes to what the article indicates it is coming too:
Php 2:1 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,
Php 2:2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.
Php 2:3 Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
Php 2:4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Php 2:5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
Php 2:6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,
Php 2:7 but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
Php 2:8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Gal 6:1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.

ReplyDeletePeople too often focus on the bad behavior without going to the root, I think this is an excellent analysis of it.
How does one access these links? It says I need to be invited.
ReplyDeleteThat is a pity. I guess that the blog in question was previously public but is now "private." I'm not sure how one can get invited, aside from asking the owner of the blog to invite him.
