Mansi and Coleti -- Sacrorum conciliorum nova et amplissima collectio. (Index)

The Sacrorum Conciliorum Nova et Amplissima Collectio of Gian (Giovanni) Domenico Mansi and Nicola Coleti is a multi-volume collection of documents related to church councils. Gallica turned out to have a nearly complete collection. There is also a collection at Documenta Catholic Omnia (link to collection).

A little light reading for you there, eh T-Fan?

It's a treasure trove of information.

I'm sure it is. But I'll have to take your word for it :-)

JB,

you would do that? :)

Shame on you and TF's shame would be yours too!

Isa 2:22 Stop regarding man in whose nostrils is breath, for of what account is he?

This in no way slights either of you so put down any stone you might have impulsively picked up! :)

Joh 1:7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him.

So, what's the lesson to be learned?

Read as TF reads, or just rely upon him and his trustworthiness; your choice? :))

And he will be the first to encourage you in this nevertheless:

Col 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
Col 2:9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily,
Col 2:10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
