November 2K
The title of this post meshes "November 2," the USA election day this year and "2K," as in "Two Kingdoms." Christians in the USA (except those who have committed felonies, who are aliens, and/or who are underage) have an opportunity to govern their land through the ballot box. The expectation is a large swing in the house of representatives based on the Republican party's economy-stimulating agenda. It's an agenda that should keep the radical 2K folks happy - essentially no mention of God or of moral rectitude on the agenda.

The Republican party has been fleeing in panic-filled terror from "moral issues" for years.
Nevermind that "moral issues" such as same-sex "marriage", abortion on demand, and Fabian socialism (yes, forced redistribution of earned wealth by the gub'mint from the productive to the non-productive is a moral issue) remain at or near the top of the list of conerns for their base of supporters.
But our God is in the heavens, and He does all that He pleases.

This temporal governed world is like the tides of the sea. There are high tides and low tides. A wise fisherman/clammer with fish the highs and clam the lows!
I went and voted. I reside in California.
We have the joy of being the state that leads the way of the nation politically some political pundits claim!
Hmmmmmm, why then does our vote only count on really really tight election cycles like this one, nationally? Of course, all politics is local so why do we discriminate when we should or should not vote?
I am tossed between emotions of some of my vocal friends. One says vote! Another, quoting him, says:
"Don't vote. It only encourages them."
Another one, mostly misguided I venture a thought, encouraged:
"I voted for Jack Bauer!"
Now, having been to over 30 countries and looked out the window at those ruled when in some of these countries seeing the oppression that was on them, I have to say, if you did not vote today and live in the United States, "...". You might want to go and walk in the shoes of some less fortunate or burdened and then ask yourself what is the purpose of voting and why?
In the mean time, these verses have given me a lot of emotion, zeal and encouragement as I have pushed forward with the Gospel of the Kingdom wherever I am:
Psa 2:1 Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?
Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,
Psa 2:3 "Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us."
Psa 2:4 He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.
Psa 2:5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying,
Psa 2:6 "As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill."
Psa 46:6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.
Psa 46:7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
Psa 110:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool."
Psa 110:2 The LORD sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. Rule in the midst of your enemies!
Psa 149:1 Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly!
Psa 149:2 Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King!
Psa 149:3 Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre!
Psa 149:4 For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation.

Psa 149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands,
Psa 149:7 to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples,
Psa 149:8 to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron,
Psa 149:9 to execute on them the judgment written! This is honor for all his godly ones. Praise the LORD!
Seeing the Elect of God are to bind kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron and execute on them the judgment written, why wouldn't a Christian living in the United States vote?
In this country that's how we bind and loose kings and nobles of the people ruled!
What a shame that right-to-life is an unwanted step-child. The child in Photo D is feeling his twin brother's head like a blind man would, which shows curiosity which is certainly a human characteristic:
