Evangelical Manifesto Reviewed
B.J. Buracker at Stupid Scholar has provided an interesting and insightful review of the so-called "Evangelical Manifesto." (link) His conclusion is about right, which is why I do not anticipate myself providing a more detailed critique of this document.

Thanks for the link. I had a similar though less refined rteaction to the so-called manifesto.
I think of a manifesto as something bold and concise, clearly specifying an agenda. This document is (as someone has noted) "both long and insistently moderate." I suspect it will accomplish nothing and soon be forgotten.
Thanks, Jim!
Sorry, this has nothing to do with your post. But I was wondering if you had heard of that heretic Todd Bentley? If not, just go to youtube and put in his name...you'll get an ear full! There are soooooo many falling for this guy's junk. I guess he's from Bob Jones if you know who he is...I don't.
a) Yes, he's somehow connected with an elderly gentleman named "Bob Jones," though evidently not the Bob Jones of Bob Jones University.
b) Yes, he's a heretic.
c) Worse than that, he's a charlatan. He claims to have raised 13 people from the dead. He claims to have healed numerous people.
d) It is very sad to see so many people following him, like sheep to the slaughter.
