Why Women are Leaving Men for Other Women

The headline of this post is the same as a recent headline in the "Lifestyle" section of MSN (link to article - Caution Inappropriate Subject Matter at Link). The article tries to take a naturalistic approach, focusing essentially on biological explanations.

For example, the article quotes Lisa Diamond, Ph.D., as stating that regarding a woman's desires, "It doesn't appear to be something a woman can control." The article, focusing on these biological explanations, also notes that men seem more "rigid" in these things and women more "fluid."

All this misses the point. The Bible has the answer to why it is that women leave men for other women, and why men leave women for other men. The answer is God's judgment on sin.

Romans 1:25-32
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

How fitting that a society who worships biology, as though biology in itself could provide the answers, is turned over to this perversion of the natural order. God has turned over the minds of this generation to such an extent that these shameful behaviors are no longer the skeleton in the closet, or even an elephant in the living room, but the open talk of all. The article puts it this way, "we've arrived at a moment in the popular culture when it all suddenly seems almost fashionable — or at least, acceptable."

May God forgive us of these sins, and show mercy on us, bringing repentance to our society before it is swallowed up in judgment. There is a solution to this problem: conformity to the Law of God (not out of servile fear, but out of love for our Creator), which may be found in the Holy Scriptures.

These things are the real things Jesus came to deal with.

His way of dealing with these things, I have found, over the years, simply is different than the way I would deal with these things. Paul the Apostle seems to have a sound understanding of the needs and wants of this sort of thing.

1Co 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
1Co 6:10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
1Co 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

I have wondered at times why this kind of sin has risen up and become common place in societies around the world. It is no new phenomonen. It is just that communication as it is, it is easily and readily apparent. If you travel into the underbelly of countries as I do, you see these things are all around and have a place in any ungodly society.

I believe it has to do with birth and infancy and an improper understanding of the "loves" of God. I am not sure God deals with one's sinful behavior the way I would seeing He seems to hold up a stricter judgment for those He has given His Holy Ghost too:::>

Mat 10:15 Truly, I say to you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.
Mat 10:16 "Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

What I believe is missed is the fact that "wolves" are both male and female!

Both male and female babies receive or receive not that sort of Love God intends to ultimately develop them into a Godly maturity.

When a girl does not receive Godly love, it seems the vacuum is so strong she has an attraction to the same sex more easily, as a way of deadening the pain because of a lack of proper Godly maternal love, maybe? Or at least, that is my rationale, how I think about it.

What do you think?

As a Minister of the Gospel, I can not take sides or be impartial with a sinful behavior or blantant fault regardless of what it is or how extreme it is. I am instructed to beware and be warned about wolves instead.

I do not believe God raises up Ministers who are not able to view humanity on the level Paul introduces there in 1 Cor. 6.

Yes, or the absence of proper paternal love. Many of the lesbians I have talked to claimed that their fathers abused them as children.

This kind of situation can be an example of God visiting the sins of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate Him.

TF,

I would certainly agree with you here.

I have, though, found that this issue in some respects cannot be pinned on either sexes and then according to some, it can be.

I just don't understand it.

I do know that for me, the only solution for my pollution was not denial or dilution but clean, pure, powerful Absolution!

Absolution does not in any way change my flesh's desires.

No, not in the least. My flesh is just as evil and impure and rotten as it was the day God began imparting "His" Faith into my spirit, soul and body.

Again, we may be surprised, maybe not, when we too pass and find who is and who is not waiting to fellowship with us?

I can plant and water. If God doesn't cause His Life to come alive in that Godly Work, no matter what I do after planting and watering, the seed will not come alive.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

What I am now praying is this more and more frequently:

Mat 9:35 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction.
Mat 9:36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Mat 9:37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;
Mat 9:38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."

I would note a distinction here that by these words and similar in other place in no way represents "universalism".

Having compassion on crowds and God opening up one's mind and soul to receive the Faith once delivered to the Saints is clearly separate and distinct works of God.

Why some lesbians recant and repent and others seem to reinforce their waywardness in this sort of idolatry is beyond me.

Why, I went to my nephew's wedding. About six months afterwards my nephew reported that the "minister" who did the ceremony, left his wife for a younger man. I spent time with this "minister" to sound the depths and he had all the right things to say in response to my inquistition.

It really messed with my nephew's head though and he just could not overcome that reality. His wife since left him and his life is in full tilt agony as we comment back and forth!

Again, the safe harbor is only for those "called" and "Elected" to His Grace and Mercy bringing about the one and only outcome of Salvation: "Peace".

So, just because Christ is moved with compassion because of the crowds, I cannot say that all in the crowd is moved with compassion for Him. In fact, no one stayed Faithful to Him. And let me be clear about it, I would have left Him too, had I been there!
