Enjoying! :)

Turretin: "....(3) from his perfection, because composition implies imperfection inasmuch as it supposes passive power, dependency and mutability;...."

What a thought! wow.

Without God in his mind, will and emotions, he would never have been able to write that thought!

Here lies the argument, does it not?

Who am I to speak to my Creator?

Anything I speak is a "composition" no matter how humble it is spoken to Him!

Our God indeed is to be Feared and Reverenced. God is!

Psa 19:12 Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults.
Psa 19:13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.
Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.

Again,

Maybe it is because Turrentin wished at his passing to be noted not than heralded? I don't know. But to discover the brilliance of the man and that God speaks out of him is just mind boggling!

Praise God!

Turrentin: "....We are called the race and offspring of God (Acts 17:28), not by a participation of the same essence, but by similarity of likeness; efficiently not essentially, as also he is called the “Father of spirits” (Heb. 12:9) with reference to creation, not to composition....".

Those words makes sense of these words:::>

Mat 25:32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

and

Mat 25:41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

and

Rev 20:14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
Rev 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Eternal Damnation is an essence not a creation, a composition!

To be a death, there must of necessity be a composition.

To be a second death, there must of necessity be a twist of that composition.

To be a goat is to be a composition of that twist.

I just found this post on simplicity, and when I went to read it I couldn't. The website is password protected. We couldn't get me invited to the blog, so I can read it? :)

That is a pity! I'm not sure why it is password protected. It wasn't when I posted this.
